Vitaly Markiv, an Italian-Ukrainian soldier, was found guilty in the first instance of the homicide of photojournalist Andrea Rocchelli. However, the sentence is founded entirely on the identity of the accused, since a Ukrainian soldier is apparently fascist by definition.
